Team In Training - Fight Against Blood Cancer

Hey Everyone!
I am at it again! I am participating in another endurance event through Team In Training. I had such an amazing experience last year, that I am doing it again. I have come to really enjoy triathlons and to one for such an incredible cause makes it just that more worth while. I have signed up to do the Nations Triathlon in Washington, DC on September 14th! This one is an Olympic distance (1.5k swim, 40k bike, and a 10k run). If you are in the area, come cheer me on!

Team in Training is the world's largest endurance sports training program. Participants raise funds for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research and patient services in exchange for training, support, and lodging for an event of their choice.
The efforts of Team In Training benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The Team In Training program is an important part of the society’s fundraising efforts.

I will send updates out on this blog as well as my team in training fundraising site, letting you know how training is going and any thoughts I have along the way!

GO TEAM!
